A private kennel of the Estonian Kennel Union (FCI). Eighteen years of careful, considered breeding of the American Akita — in Estonia and on the world's rings.
Dreamberry is a private kennel, registered with the Estonian Kennel Union (Eesti Kennelliit, EKL) on 18 February 2008 under ID EKL № 15/08. EKL is a full member of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI).
The kennel is based in Vasalemma, Harju County, Estonia. For more than eighteen years we have committed ourselves to a carefully planned breeding programme, aimed at the exceptional quality of our breeding stock — physical health, anatomical conformity, mental stability and an unwavering orientation towards people.
Our principal activity is the breeding, showing and popularisation in Estonia of the American Akita — FCI Group 5, Standard № 344. Dogs of Dreamberry are multiple European and World Champions; they have won breed specialty awards and held the prestigious title "Dog of the Year" in Estonia.
In earlier years the kennel also successfully bred the American Staffordshire Terrier, Affenpinscher, Belgian Griffon and Brussels Griffon. Although these breeds are no longer part of our active programme, their lines — through the descendants of our sires — continue to influence the gene pool both in Estonia and abroad.
Member of the Board of the Estonian Kennel Union since 2017. Actively shaping Estonian cynology since 2007. Professional groomer, trainer and handler with extensive practical experience.
Responsible for the day-to-day care of the dogs, in-house grooming, operational support of the kennel and the logistics of all show travel. Holder of the certificate of completion of the Eesti Kennelliit breeders' courses.
Every dog of Dreamberry is the result of years of deliberate selection. The titles below are verifiable through the public registers of EKL and FCI.

Over eighteen years of consistent work the principles below have shaped every breeding decision at Dreamberry. They are not slogans but conditions, applied to each dog before, during and after a planned pairing.
Reinforcement of traditional American Akita bloodlines with strict consolidation of key breed traits in full compliance with the FCI breed standard.
Physical health, anatomical conformity, mental stability, human-orientation and the absence of aggression — assessed together, not in isolation.
Every dog used in, or planned for, breeding undergoes full veterinary assessment before being entered into a programme.
Breed-specific testing for hip dysplasia (HD) and elbow dysplasia (ED), plus the recommended DNA panels for the American Akita.
Advisory support on housing, feeding, raising and training — for the full life of every dog placed with a family by the kennel.
Shaping the public image of the American Akita as what the breed truly is when properly bred and raised — a stable, devoted, human-oriented companion.
Below are the FCI events at which Dreamberry will be represented in 2026. Dates and venues are subject to confirmation by the organisers.
